3DAssist Tallaght is a charity based in TUDublin that 3D prints free prosthetics for children. We are made up of staff, students and past students volunteers.

To date we've made over 50 prosthetics for over 35 children in Ireland and the UK.

Overview

We are a chapter in the worldwide group eNable, that has over 150 groups similar to ourselves.

Where your money goes

All of the money raised goes towards the material costs and cost of maintaining / replacing our printers.
All of our volunteers are unpaid and give their time freely.

We estimate that one of our 3D printed arms costs approximately €20 to make. It takes about 20 hours to print and about 2 hours to assemble.
